Cuba Fire Rescue is recruiting volunteers

Cuba Fire Rescue is NOW RECRUITING volunteers for emergency response and department support. Training is provided. Volunteers receive stipends, gear, social events, professional development opportunities, and can participate in the New Mexico Public Employees Retirement Association (PERA) after extended service.

Cuba Fire Rescue is a VOLUNTEER organization that serves the Village of Cuba and surrounding areas in rural Sandoval County. Work with your friends, neighbors, and local public safety personnel to keep your fire department prepared and your community safe… Structure and wildland firefighting, motor vehicle accidents, special events and parades, prescribed burns, community action planning, school drills and mock crashes, public assistance, landing zones, and MORE!!

Opportunities are available to mentor youth participating in the Junior Firefighters Program.

Business meetings are held every FIRST Tuesday of the month at 6pm. Training meetings are held every THIRD Tuesday of the month at 6pm.

All applicants will be considered without attention to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran or disability status.
